Secondary School Integration Of Science Tahfiz

Introduction
 
MAIWP Meeting Number 110/2009, held on 27 July 2009 has agreed in principle to set up SM-IMTIAZ in Wilayah Persekutuan. Rational establishment is to meet the demands and needs of the society that has long wanted to see that there is a religious school science and Tahfiz integration in the Wilayah Persekutuan, especially in Kuala Lumpur. The concept of implementation is to implement the concept of holistic education, combining modern and conventional character education. Clearly it contains three main components, that :
  1. National education (modern) are based on the Standard Curriculum for Secondary Schools (KSSM). 
  2. Religious Studies (Diniyyah / Azhari). 
  3. Both the above fields were later reinforced by the study of the Quran including memorization.

SCHOOL CURRICULUM

The Form 4 and 5 students will pursue studies in Pure Science. Based on this trend, the MAIWP hopes to open up opportunities for students to continue their studies to a higher level, whether in or outside the country.

Through curriculum Diniyyah (Azhari), however, are expected to produce students who have extensive knowledge in master Fardhu Ain and Fardhu Kifayah with intermediate Arabic. Overall, the curriculum SMISTA take teaching and learning for 59 hours in a week.

CO-CURRICULAR

SMISTA plan to provide four extra-curricular activities to students who are:

     (i) The Association and Club
         - Astronomy Club
         - Entrepreneurship Club
         - Nasyid and Culture Club
         - Debate Club and Lectures
         - Club Multimedia

     (ii) Uniform Units
         - Junior Cadet School
         - Princess Islam
           
     (iii) Sports and Games
         - Football
         - Badminton
         - Sepak Takraw
         - Volleyball
         - Netball
         - Ping Pong
         - Chess

  (iv) EXTRA CO-CURRICULAR
         - Archery
         - Swim
         - Martial Arts
 

SENSE MODULE

In addition to curriculum and co-curriculum is set, students are required to attend Identity Module held in the early stages of learning in SMISTA (first term of Form 1) to take for 3 months (January to March).

The same module is compulsory for educators SMISTA line and is performed serially. The implementation of this module merupakani a transition process for students and teachers to equip the emphasis in forming themselves into an excellent and versatile approach:
  1. Development Syakhsiah 
  2. Cognitive (Curriculum) 
  3. Affective (Begging) 
  4. Psychomotor (Physical)

Develop a comprehensive potential towards purification of the soul in accordance with the principles of the Qur'an and Sunnah in order to produce a balanced Rabbani generation.

Tarbiyyah ongoing in order to develop their potential in a holistic manner to produce a perfect human being anchored in a strong and sincere faith in God, carrying the spirit of unity and brotherhood Islamiyah as the heart of community strength.
